which one would be best?

Hey im cody im 15 and im looking for a truck to fix up. I turn 16 in june so it cant be a huge project. I just want it to be almost done by the time school starts back up. I have a couple trucks im looking at right now and i was just going to ask for your thought on which one would be the best. My price range is under $4000 so its not going to be a show truck when i get done. I would rather have a swb but there really hard to find for a reasonable price. Or my dad and i might cut the frame to make it a short bed. But here are the links.

My dad and I went and looked at this one it is in pretty good shape there isnt any dents and its mostly just surface rust except on the drivers side rocker
