383 stroker is in!
I pulled my tired old 305 out yesterday and installed a 383 stroker I got from a friend of mine in its place. We finally finished it after a lot of minor issues today. I still have some tweaking to do, need to replace the leaky old set of headers we had to use, resolve some power steering pump mounting issues (drove it home w/o the ps), and I can't remember what else right now, but it's in and running. It's a completely different truck now....mean and loud.
I'm so sore, tired, and achy...but glad it's in!
