Tremec TKO's and engine mounting location
Got a 250 straight 6, interested in the TKO series of 5 speed tranny. Currently running the SM465, plan on running the mechanical linkage to get me up and running. I want to keep the L6 for the time being, but may upgrade to an SBC in the future. Here are my questions.
Once I get the tranny, install it, and shorten the driveline, will I have to redo it all if I go with the SBC? The L6 IS kinda long... How does this perform with the mechanical linkage setup? Anyone have it?
