New Guy from TX

Hello All,
I know this will probably be a double post but what the heck, I guess I needed to post in the intro page first---

I am a long time lurker, first time poster..

I'm from Central Texas, Pflugerville, to be exact.

Not new to cars in general, but I finally got a nice little project on my hands, 57 Chevy 3600 LWB, was a heck of a deal for $750 bux. A friend of mine turned me on to the 2nd series when he would drive by my place with his. This thing is solid with only 3 rust spots, rear bottom cab corners and drivers fender...easy fixes.

I just started it up last week, when I bought it the owner didn't know to much about it, it is was a long forgotten project, he never really tried to turn it on, so he didn't know if it would....well it did, with little effort....purred like a kitten.

Pretty stoked. Here is a picture, I have also attached pics of my other heap ('53 Olds 4 door converted into a 2 door with a chop).

Laters
