Need some help with a cardboard gas tank cover
HELP! I have my seats and console out and I want to add the cardboard gas tank cover, I didn't have one to start with so I can't look at the old one. How is it supposed to go around the vent hoses on the passenger side of the tank, does it need to be cut? I thought there was only one cover for all 6 years, could there be a different one for 71-72?
Also do the tabs along the top get folder over around the back side of the tank and what holds the bottem in place? Do you use adhesive to hold the whole thing in place? A picture would be worth a thousand words ![]() Thank you, Jeff
