Re: Rita's Rod Revival-SWB swap
*UPDATE*
Rita's truck is finally running and driving. It only took just over a year and a half. ![]() ![]() The weight of the motor sat the front down nicely. ![]() After we hosed off the dust she drove it just around the corner and back, we had no coolant in it, apparently we stabbed a hole in the radiator either during disassembly or reassembly. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The next step is to trailer it to my work so I can put it on a rack and reinstall the exhaust and do a safety check on it. Then it can get an alignment and it's ready to hit the road. The plan was to have it ready for the Goodguys show at the end of the month. She'll drive it as-is through the summer and we'll get the bed bodyworked, painted and get the bed wood done over the winter. One other need thing she did was add a Gennie Shifter knob and a vintage Sinko suicide knob. You can't see in the pic but the suicide knob has an old pic of a pinup girl in it. It's pretty neat. ![]()
