Tall Valve Covers & EGR?

OK summit doesnt make those cast aluminum valve covers in the short style, then only have the tall style. I can get the Billet Specialties for $80 or these tall ones for $63. I think they are the same product, just marketed under different names for sales purposes. I think summit has t buy them in bulk from BS's to get the lower price, just my guess.

Anyway I know the tall covers will interfere with my EGR valve. Isnt there a spacer or something to move the EGR? Its probly not worth it, I should probly just spend the extra $20 and get the short type (BS). Either way I still want to know what can be done about tall covers and EGR valve problem.

One more thing. Could having tall covers hurt anything? I know that tall covers are for use with roller rockers, so they clear them. But if I used a tall cover with my stock setup, would that cause any problems, like oil flow or anything?

Thanks!
