Is the only difference?

Finnally took my doors all apart (window assemblies, vent windowetc) since it seems everyone else is doing this project or has just recently completed it.

Anyhow my drivers side has the window with the frame and my Passenger side is without.

My question is this: can you mount a non-framed window in a "framed" lower bracket/channel?

The only difference I can see is the little "tabs" that the frame that goes around the glass connects to on the lower channel bracket.

I want to put replacement glass in without the frame around it.

sorry if this is confusing
