I drive a 1969 C/10 Stepside with a 250 engine. I've had this truck for about 25-30 years. I'm doing most of the work to maintain/fix it myself these days, being a marginally employed old lady with more time than money. I also enlist my brother-in-law to help when something is real tight or if I'm not sure I'm not going to damage something by trying to fix it, or when I just need moral support. Over the years there have just been about two or three times that the truck didn't get me home, and it's been driven just about every day. I love it!
