'68 upgrade questions

Got a '68 C20 with manual brakes. I rebuilt the entire brake system (safety first ), Now, I am building arms like Popeye with this manual setup. I want to know if anyone has put power steering in a 67 or 68 with a 400SBC? I hear the pulley situation can really be challenging... If I read/understand correctly, you can pull the gearbox, lines and pump, brackets and pulleys off any 73-86 Chev pickup and it will work? Just need a 67-72 power steering Pitman arm and idler arm?

Second, I am having a bit of trouble finding the right shocks. The 68 C20 has coil rear suspension and the ones that the local auto parts store recommends look like weenie shocks compared to the factory originals. I am not dropping OR raising the truck, and I am running 16's. I DO plan to tow occassionally with this truck, so any recommendations on decent shock namebrands/part numbers to look into?
Thanks for the help!
