Kenwood sub question?
A friend of mine bought a Kenwood KSC-WA62RC all in one under the seat sub unit a few years ago. Well he never installed in because he sold his jeep and just gave it to me still new in the box (man I love those deals). I plan on installing it in the 02 Silverado but need your help. The instructions say to connect to the front speakers because I still have the factory head unit. My questions are, does it really matter if I connect to the front or rear speakers? Also what would be the best location for this unit? Perhaps under the passengers seat or under the rear seat? Also what would be the best way to run the wires? Here is some information on the unit.
Max output = 50w/2ohm + 50w/2ohm (dual voice-coil drive Frequency response = 35 - 160 Hz S/N ratio = 85 dB Low pass filter frequency = 60Hz,80Hz,120Hz,160Hz (4 step) Phase = 0, 180 Max current consumption = 12A Fuse capacity = 15A Enclosure = passive radiator type Active woofer = 130mm (gold-coted concaved cone) Passive woofer = 165mm (gold-coated cone) Size = width 210mm x height 118mm x depth 383mm (15-3/16" x 4-5/8" x 8-1/4") Thanks Ralph
