Smile Welding advice requested...

Hello fellow enthusiasts....
I have followed your advice before and been well pleased. This is the best board on the NET!! I've currently had to stop progress on my 69 C10 because an drunk idiot backed into my son's 69 Olds Cutlass which has placed my truck on hold until I get his car repaired. The car is a unibody and has unique challenges when performing a "quarter-ectomy" My scenario is...

The Olds sustained the hit right at the rear quarter just millimeters from the door continuing all the way over to the trunk. I have the old metal removed and have a quarter skin from Year One. The skin doesn't have the bend in the metal where it meets the rocker panel. Instead, it just goes down to the pinch weld at the bottom of the car covering up the rocker.

My question is....How do I attach the panel to the car without this bend. It just doesn't look right covering up the rocker. Thanks in advance for your help and support...You guys rock!!!!
