NP 205 won't go into low range all of the way

http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...to_threadtools Now , for what ever the reason 2 hi and 4 hi are fine but I can only partialy engage low range it goes in enough to think you are in and then it pops out when you put a load on it............the linkage seems fine and nothing in that area was affected when I crashed. For some reason it is like the front axle is engaging (that part of the shifting) but the low range will not go in. Any ideas?
