Hello from augy's '53

Just thought I would join to share and share alike. Currently working on a '53 3100 5 window. I've installed self built 355 sb in front of a 700R4 with most of the upgrade mods, a Chevy 10 bolt w/ 3.42 gears, a Speedway front power disc brake conversion, power brake booster bracket from CPP, a CPP power steering kit using a steering box from a '67 - '72 pickup (outside the frame rail) and a trick CPP lower steering column bearing adapter that allowed me to eliminate the stock steering box (for sale) but retain the stock steering column. I can barely justify the 10K it's going to cost to just get it on the road with a half way decent paint job, so don't expect a lot of pictures. From what I've seen here, it will hardly be worthy. But I've always been more for go and less for show.

My previous projects include a '30 chevy 3 window in High School (had it ready for the road before I had a drivers license); a '67 chevy 2 door in the mid 80's, and most recently I put a '97 4.3 Vortec in front of a TH 350 in my cherry '68 Toyota Land Cruiser.
