Stock control arms + bags question.....

Ive seen many cool set-ups here and didnt find an answer searching for info so heres the question.

Do the stock front bump-stop mounts NEED to be removed to work with bags?

I am using Re7's with cups in 73-87 type stock control arms.......I do not have my spindles mounted and the bags really fight back. They are pushing the cups out against the bumpstop mounts.....should they be removed? I was planning on using the stock bump mount to limit my travel for the time being. It may be ok to leave the stock bump mounts once I jack up the arm and mount my spindles, but it would be simple to get rid of them now and not go backwards.....this project has taken me long enough as it is.

Any suggestions would be appreciated as I have to run my lines and do other things to complete the install; Im going to check this later and see what everyone has to say about it.
