Talking It has started.......

Well, first off, I'd like to thank you all for responding to my first post "why isn't my truck starting?!" well, I traced the problem all the way down to the high quality auto zone unit that I had.....it was "new" and had not been on anything, I took it right out of the box, and bolted it up...well, needless to say, i went back to AZ, and got yet another "new" starter and bolted it up and it spun over....I was quite happy....after discovering I had my distributor in 180 degrees off, and swapped over all my spark plug wires...I got it to start up, and ran it for about 6-7 minutes...while adjusting rockers and such, I went back up today to get some more work done on it....and drove it around the lot a little bit, it feels like it'll be kinda peppy, time will tell....anyways, I have one more question, the vacuum line that goes from my tranny (TH400) to the ???? I've got an edelbrock #1406 600 cfm w/ elec choke on top of the stock cast iron manifold....where do I put this vac. line?? does it go to the front of back of the carb, or what? if I can get all these little things taken care of, I should be driving it by friday....thanks again
