Re: floor shifter

I cut the hole in my floorboard for a three speed floor shifter. My truck is a 1966 swb stepside. My measurements are: 35 inches from the back wall of the cab and 28 5/8 inches from driver door with it closed. That intersection is the lower left corner of the hole. The hole is 1 5/8 inches wide and 3 inches long. The 3 inches is from back to front. Mount your shifter bracket to the side of the trans and take a look where it is. This might help also.
