mid 80's suburban pedal assembly
I read on here and some other forums about some using a pedal assembly from a mid 80's suburban in their Advance Design and Task Force Trucks. I thought Id do the same on my 52 3/4 ton so for $40 I picked up a pedal assembly/brake booster/master cylinder at the local you-pull-it yard. I plan on installing it within the next few weeks and would love to see some pictures of this unit installed in either series trucks.
Also instead of starting another thread, what are some good vehicles to get a tilt steering column out of. Im looking for something (i hope its not too much to ask for) that is not too bulky (just like a after market column), looks good in AD trucks and it would have to be made for a manual transmission truck so I doesn't have the column shifter. Ive heard of using a column out of a 80's something Chevy Van. Any pics of one of these installed. Thanks!!!
