Interior Work on '87 Shortbed
I yanked out the thrashed seat and made one fit from an '88-up parts truck. While I was at it, I put in carpet, door sills, and a Dash Top cover. The old dash was pretty bad. Not much left to glue the cover to.
I'm waiting for my door panel paint, Hurricane Ike slapped the Gulf Coast like Tina, no mail service yet. The seat had a saddle seat cover on it. Must have been put on the day they bought the truck, the upholstery is great, but the truck was junk. There were three hardhats behind the seat, it was obviously a work truck. The parts truck had a tilt column in it as well. I'll be swapping that in sooner or later. |
