newbie from mineola, tx

hey guys wats up? im 16 years old. I have had a job as a mechanic at a local body shop for 2 years now. i built a garage next to my house house where i work on other peoples cars to make some extra money, and to hold my 1949 GMC. i love it! right now i am re-wiring it for 12 volts, getting it running, and putting tires and glass on it. i am only doing that now because i want to be able to drive it to high school my senior year and hopefully the end of this year. after high school ive got plans to bag it where it lays frame, LS7 motor swap, and a 6-speed manual. ive got a really nice painless performance wiring harness that i will use when i when i do all that. but now i am just doing it by hand so i can get experience and better understand how everything works.
