D44 question an help
I started reassembling my D44 this afternoon and ran into a problem. After installing the spring and the drive dog gears??, started to install the "C" clip that holds this portion togetheron the axle shaft, but the groove in the stub shaft is just barely visable, not enough for the clip to go into. I could not get the hub to go back any further, am I missing something, if so what do I need to do to get the clip into place?? Thanks, Harold
