Post Truck resto is finished. Thanks for the advice.

Well, I spent my week of vacation getting my 83 GMC put back together. I already had an 89 bed on it & now it's got a 89-90 Blazer/Surburban front end. I guess I can call it a "custom" truck now eh? It had been hit on the driverside front clip so I decided to put a newer style front end on it. I went ahead & sanded down the whole cab & repaired the hood & driverside door. One mistake I made was in purchasing an aftermarket fender. Never again. I'll scour junkyards from here to the end of the friggin earth first. It took some persuasion & a few choice words to get it to fit correctly. What do the Tawainese know about GMC's anyhow. LOL. The other time consuming thing was getting the grill & lighting assembly fitted right. Of course only half of the holes wanted to line up. This was my first time doing this & it was a learning experience. But, a little bit of grinding & trimming here & there did the trick. I would like to post some pictures but I don't have the capability to do so yet. I appreciate the responses I got from my fellow truck enthusiasts. Happy trucking, Ross.
