can I ask a favor, measurement needed

the next time someone is out working on their truck, and you have a dial caliper in hand and one of the gauges (speedometer or combination gauge cluster) is out, would you please let me know what the diameter is of the gauge opening.

I'm going to be installing an Auto-Meter 5" speedometer and tachometer soon but need to find out the diameter of the gauge opening as I need to have some rings cut out as the stock gauges are slightly bigger than the Auto-meter gauges.

Thanks!!!
