Post 79 GMC BURBAN 350 SEEMS KINDA LIMITED

OK, HERE'S THE DEAL..... I'VE HAD THIS TRUCK FOR 2 YEARS AND HAVEN'T HAD ANY MAJOR PROBLEMS WITH IT..... IT'S A 3 SPEED WITH A GRANNY LOW... NOW I LOOK AT OTHER PEOPLES TRUCKS AND THEY CAN REV PRETTY HIGH.... MINE WON'T .. DIDN'T THINK IT WAS A BIG DEAL UNTIL I PUT A BOLTED A TACH ON.... SHE DOESN'T REALLY GO ABOVE 3500 RPM??? I DON'T THINK I'VE EVER HEARD OF A TRUCK THAT LOW.... I GET HER ON THE HIGHWAY, AND I'LL BE GOING ABOUT 75 (SPEEDO CABLE IS BROKE) AND I'M AFRAID TO TAKE HER ABOVE 3500 RPM... WHAT DO YOU THINK? SHE'S A PULLER, AND I HAVEN'T EVER HAD ANY BIG ENGING TROUBLE, BUT I JUST FEEL THAT SHE COULD BE DOING MORE!! ANY IDEAS?
