just an update on this. I found out today that performance online has a 2 piston aluminum caliper for 71-87 trucks. You have to trim about 1/4 off your spindle, but no special brackets! The price is $184.00 a pair and 95.00 more for polished. They are not the Howe calipers that they were selling ( i asked) They don't have it on their website yet but they are available NOW There is a picture of the single piston version in the Dec issue of CCT. Finally something affordable!

Did you order a set? I know looking at their site, they had the Howe ones and new aluminum single piston ones, which were priced at $184 for the pair. Hard to think they would also sell 2 piston ones for the same prices as their single piston ones.

Not doubting what they told you but I would love to see pics of these. I always find it amazing a company will release something for sale and not have it on their web site. How are we suppose to buy them???
