dumps or side exit? (and other exhaust stuff)
So i'm putting new exhaust on my '84. I'm pretty set on using 40 series flowmasters, i know some of you guys don't like em so here's your chance to talk me out of it. Also i know the flows will give me alot of interior resonance. I want to just dump the pipes before the rear axle. Will this make it even louder inside? would side exit before the rear tires be any better? For you 67-72 guys who don't have to run cats, since i'm going to run some after market cats won't these make the 40 series a little quiter than they are on your trucks?
sorry so long but i want some input so i can make up my mind and order stuff ------------------ '84 1\2 ton swb, 350 5\7 drop just sold '64 1\2 ton 4\4 drop with built 350 (my toy)
