cpp firewall pedal assembly 47-53 help
Has anyone purchased the firewall mounted pedal assembly from classic performance products. I did. I ordered it from Classic Parts of America and just finally received it as it had to be drop shipped from the manufacture. I get it and as soon as I take it out I know something don't seem right and when I went out to my truck I see how it fits I realized that I had been sent the wrong one. The pedal assembly is suppose to replace the dash/column support and use the bolts for the upper column mount. It doesn't even come close to touching the dash.
For anyone that has ordered and received this item please tell me it isn't suppose to be like this. In the directions it clearly shows that it uses the column mount bolts. Right now I'm being bounced back and forth from classic and cpp finding out what to do. All that was in the box was the pedal assembly, not even the directions were in the box(good thing they have it on their website). To top it off they don't stamp the item number on the pedal assembly, looks like it went from the welding table to the box. No packing slip either. I had to send pictures to cpp to show them that its not the right one, even sent a picture showing me measuring the length from where it bolts to the firewall to where its suppose to bolt to the upper column mount bolts. Im waiting for a response from cpp on the pictures I sent.
