Interested in a Cady Swap

I know that this has been talked about in the 67-72 forums, however I am needing to put a new motor in my 1987 3/4 ton 4x4 Suburban. I am thinking about swaping in a 500 cube Cadillac motor. I purchased the motor and trans for $300.00. The motor is an early 70's model with 365 horses and over 500 ft/lb's of torque. The motor runs great and only has about 70,000 miles on it. I know that this is not very hard to do in a 67-72 and I think that you use the 73-87 motor mount towers. I am going to keep my factor turbo 400 that is already in the Sub. I am going to have to buy an adapter to bolt the Cady motor to the Chevy trans. If there is any one out there who can give me any info on this subject I would be greatly appreciative!!!

Thanks
