Another new guy! (Little Rock, Arkansas)
Hi guys, I have a 1969 Shortstep that I just got started on. It's a family heirloom that sat for a while, and will be a good starting point for my build. So far my plans are a Pro-Touring style ride. I've got a Tremec TKO500 that's going in, and a top end rebuild for the motor. The truck was frame off restored in 1991 by my grandfather. It was later passed to my dad, who was not so kind to it. After managing to mercilessly trash her, he gave her to me! (yay)
I look forward to sharing info and learning some new things. I've been building, modifying and tinkering with Chevy's for about 14 years now. I've had two '84's, an '89, a '92 and my two current trucks, all of which were tricked out in one way or another. I also used to work at Cloyes Gear Co., so I have a little knowledge on timing chains, gear drives and such.
