Hey I don't mind the questions. They actually get me thinking. Like the pistons. I never thought to figure out what they are. I do know that the block is a 4 bolt main. Also I'm fairly certain the deck height is standard. The suffix code is still there and doesn't appear to have been re stamped. Heads seem to be standard too. As for gaskets, I'm thinking of a set of Mr Gasket with copper head gaskets. Thin.

After a closer look today while doing some clean up. I found that something was banging around in the #5 cylinder. Looked like maybe a screw from the indentions on the head. Most likely the main reason for the last rebuild. All signs indicate it was prior to the rebuild. No damage to valves, piston or cylinder wall.
