Any one using Air over Shocks on their IFS?

I have a frame for my 1950 3100 that has a mustang ii front suspension that is setup for tall coilovers. I plan to bag the truck to lay the running boards close to the ground. With the way the frame is setup up now, it would be easiest to just use a set of air over shocks, like shockwaves, instead of cutting the upper coil over mount off/trimming the bracing on the side of the frame and rebracing and mounting normal upper bag brackets. My only concern is that due to limited spacing of how the crossmember/coilover upper mount was braced, I would have to go with a sleeve design air over spring and from what i have researched they only have about 900lb load capacity. Would i be better off just cutting up the upper mount/trimming the bracing on the side of the frame and rebracing or will this load capicty be sufficient? I also plan on switching to the control arms that don't require the strut rod.

Thanks,
