I remembered more.I had a`63 Riviera with a 455 dual quad/powerglide drivetrain.One day while raining,I hit US40 and pushed the go pedal to the floor.It`s like hitting the "on" button.One minute you`re at a light,next thing you`re going over 100 listening to the speedminder buzzing it`s butt off.I hit it this day in the rain,both wipers swipe center-outward,and before I knew it,it was like the wipers weren`t on.Just about then I see somethoing fly by both side windows.I pull over and both wipers ripped off.They had lifted off the windshield then tore of at the bases.Man,that care flew,so did the wipers.
