I had the same problem with the door seals on my '63. After I glued the seal into place, the door would not close. I basically just pushed the seal on, no tension, when I got to the end I had about 6” inches left that I cut off. I let it sit for about a week also thinking the compression of the door would fix it. It didn't. I finally pulled the seal off and then put it back on with a little tension. When I got it glued back in place I had another 4-6” of slack.

I think it's got to be put on somewhat tight, just not sure how tight.

I know that's not a lot of info but hope it helps.

Great progress!!

Don
Thanks Don, I adjusted on my Rt door some and got it closing better. I think it will be fine. Just have too do the Lt door when I get motivated again. I had alot of motivation this morning.

I just had the Metzler rear tire on my bike grow a bubble the size of a hand ball. It happened in Palm Springs, and had to have the bike towed home. There goes some of my parts money too.
Thanks Dennis, that sucks about your tire.

Thanks Greg for buying the inner fenders, and no I wasn't kidding that I would put you to work. LOL Super Chevy is next weekend in Commerce GA. I was hoping to make it up there with a little cash. Hopefully 198plus will buy the bed tomorrow.

Thanks guys for the birthday wishes and comments. I wasn't even going to mention anything about my BD, but couldn't help myself after all of this excitement.
