Looking for a couple of mirror pieces
I sent my mirror arms down to Tx Firefighter and he blasted and powder coated em for me. He did a super nice job.
Well I was mocking them back together and noticed one piece had all the upper threads stripped off. Dunno how I missed that when I took it apart. I have a undersized nut sort of cinching it together for now. I need that stainless steel piece in the close up picture. I had new mirrors cut so I had to take the housings apart. Unfortunately one of the cap nuts came off with part of the threaded shaft that runs through the inside of the mirror. So I need either the whole mirror housing or the housing bracket that's inside the mirror. I went ahead and put the mirror assemblies back on the truck. I was tired of driving with one peep mirror. When I get the parts I need Ill take em all apart again and do a nicer job putting them together...should look pretty good. Last edited by CG; 06-01-2009 at 09:38 PM. |
