Brake pedal problem - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I just installed a power brake booster on my 68 c10. I bled the lines, have plenty of vacuum, and everything seems to be connected properly. When i press the brake pedal down and release the pedal does not return into the up posistion unless I use my foot to pull it back up. There's no resistance when using my foot to pull it back and it fells like it go down as it should. Should I put a bigger/stronger return spring on the pedal or are there any other areas I should look at first?
