I have my own ideas of what I like to do. But whenever I see another truck that just looks "right" to me, I save the pic, then print it and put it in a 3-ring binder. If there was something particular about it (trim, color, custom sheet metal work, adding newer xxx, anything like that) I will write on the back of the page. I draw many ideas from what others have done, and morph them into my own vision. If you have ever looked at the build thread for my 68 that I just traded for the 85, then you would know what I mean.
Examples: Stance, color, mirrors: Burb/Blazer grill on a red truck: Too numerous to mention!!! Relocated tailgate handle, solid Blazer band, and on a red truck: Everything! But mainly wheel/tire combo and size (I'm an old skool 15" wheel guy ), ride height, stance, use of stock rallys, black and straight, etc..... I'll probably almost duplicate this truck, but in red!
