NV 4500 Issues
Hey everyone. I posted this over on the 88-98 board but i fugured i would put it here too cause this one gets more traffic and its kind of a generalized thing.
I am working on my buddies 92 chevy 2500 with a nv4500 transmission. He has been having clutch problems forever now and finally after replacing multiple slave and mastercylinders we decided the preasure plate or throwout bearing was seizing up causing these to die prematurely. So we pulled the tranny and transfer case and replaced the clutch and pressure place and throw out bearing and pilot bearing. The throw out bearing was shot and was previously installed incorrectly. so after replacing everything and putting it all together and bleading the clutch system we cannot get the clutch to disengage. fork is moving but i suspect not enough. Have any of yall ever had one of these do this? I am thinking the fork is either bent of the pivot ball is bad. anything suggestions?
