Take a look at my 1969 Blazer
Here is my 1969 Blazer's, take a look at the details:
It is currently registered, tagged and safety inspected in Texas. It is very streetable but probably better suited for the trail. It has a low mile 383 (stroked 350) motor with a mild Comp cam 254H (20" of vacuum) and World Products S/R torquer heads. Edelbrock (pn 3500) multiport EFI. A sm465 4 speed manual trans (6.5 to 1 first gear) and a NP205 (professionally gone through with all new seals) with twin stick shifter that adds 2 wheel low. Dana 44 with power disc brakes and a Detroit Locker and Warn manual hubs. It has a new power steering gear box.Tuff Country EZ ride HD 4"springs. Offroad Design 4.5" shackles, 13" travel shocks on F-250 shock mounts. The 12 bolt rear has 4.11 gears a Detroit Locker and has been moved 2" back to center in the wheel openings. The springs are 64" 1988-98 chevy 1/2 ton springs with a shackle flip and 6" DIY shackles. The rear flex is retarded and may still limited by the 12.5" travel Pro Come adjustable shocks. The rubber is 33" BFG's mud on 15X10" M/T (aluminum) wheels. The mufflers need to be re-clocked for more ground clearance. The headlamps are 7" Cibie European code with 75/85 watt H4 bulbs wired with separate relays. These are technically not street legal but you can easily get away with them because of the sharp cutoff of the European code lights does not blind the oncoming traffic. The body sits on all new poly bushings. It is in good shape but has it's share of dings and scratches. The only area of concern might be the rockers. There is evidence of rust bubbles (no holes) under the paint. I have not worried about this since it has not gotten any worse in my 6 years of owning the truck. The entire bed and interior has been professionally shot with black LineX bed liner. This is the high pressure high temp stuff the will not peal off. The seats are super comfortable extra wide PRP seats mounted on the original blazer brackets. It has a Pioneer in dash stereo/CD player a 3 ch amp and four 6X9 speakers in the doors. There is no hard top but is comes with a really nice complete soft top (not in the pics). I have always run with the home crafted bikini top.
