I am fortunate to have a local practice track that is privately owned. It is smaller than most but very technical. That picture was taken in the corner refered to as the carosel. From over head it sort of resembles the greek letter Omega. There is a small straight with a downhill hairpin on one end and a chicane into a hairpin on the other. One other benefit is last year Lance Holst stopped by and is a frequent visitor often sharing his knowledge and helping guys with bike set-up. Best thing is the use of the track 3 times a week is available to the public for free ( just check your ego, attitude at the door) but the porta potty will run you $5 per year. When Ilived in the Bay Are I used to ride Sears Point and Laguna but the closest to me now are Miller in SLC and Spokane with it's crazy 180MPH straightaway. Josh
