let's talk 1967 stock round mirror's !

OK , I know this is a small detail but I am bored

anyway I am noticing that the original factory round mirror's on 1967 and maybe up to 69 ? are smooth on the back and if say a 67 was black then the mirror's were white like in this original paint 67 pic below , I ordered new mirror's for my 67 and they will work but don't look like the factory one's , did I just order from the wrong place (LMC) and doe's any company make them that look like the original one's , also here is a pic I found of what I believe to be the right one's , these are on ebay but I'd say an original set would be rusted and no good ? any thought's ?

I'd almost buy these off ebay but NOS one's or correct repop's would be better ,
