Red face DIY4x crossmember with BBC and Headers,4x4

Hello fellow first gen lovers.... i've been up for a few weeks now researching this topic only to become a little more confused than when i first started. i found a ton of good info but not exactly what i was looking for and it was scattered all over. here is what i have:
67 3/4 ton 4X4 with 454 (crappy jimmy rigged mounting) sm465/np205 and no name paper thin headers.
this is whats wrong:
my headers ALWAYS leak... i need new ones (they were poorly modified to fit truck, one collector is shortened very badly)
My engine jumps around in the engine compartment like a mexican jumping bean due to previous owner BBC swap "custom" engine mounts
Has anyone installed a DIY4X crossmember with a BBC and Headers(on a 4x4)???
What's the Part number for the headers? what brand??
i know of Thorley 304-y but Burt4x4 said they dont fit all that great and they are over $500!!! (not going to happen...) Any alternatives?
i know a couple guys are doing this but they haven't updated their threads as far as i need :/ i feel like i know you guys ive read so much of your threads

thanks for any info, i hope this will help others in my situation!
