Did these valve cover emblems really exist?
I have a collection of advertising material for our trucks for various years and you often see these valve cover emblems designating the CID of the engine. (See picture.) However, I have yet to see one in person or even a picture of one on this board or anywhere else. Did they actaully exist? Has anyeone ever seen one in person or have a good picture of one?
I’m not sure but I think there was some kind of an emblem on the PS side valve cover of my 327 before I cleaned it up. There was some dried-up sticky stuff on the passenger side valve cover. Classic Industries has various motor emblems available but only the ones that go on the air cleaner as far as I can see. I haven’t looked really close. I’m just trying to detail my rebuilt 327 up nice to stock. Thanks, Tom This scan is from a 68 sales brochure.
