Any Rochester 2GV experts?

I have a carb that neither matches the truck nor the engine in the truck. PO is not able to help...this mystery carb is a small-base model I originally thought was a 2G but on closer examination must be a 2GV with the choke mechanism and linkage removed. A generic manual choke cable is hooked up, and the vacuum port on the back was open when I found it (I capped it instantly).

When I thought it was the 1970 carb, I bought a carb kit only to find the kit fits the large-base models only. I really need to find a kit with gaskets I can use for the small-base 2GVs and hopefully instructions that will get me in the right ballpark for float and the other settings, to work with the 305 currently in the truck. The casting number...are you sure you are ready for this? sit down...says 7349999. Yup. It also has a bowtie under the number. I can only guess this means a OEM replacement or service replacement of the carb or at least the body, using a casting from a mold originally made in 1964...any better ideas?

I am mainly looking for recommendations on the carb kit to use. Right now, I am planning on going into NAPA tomorrow and trying to ask for a kit meant for a 1968 307 equipped truck, which is at least A small-base 2GV vehicle...
