The starter Housing was cracked when i got the truck from Pops. then i replaced the that started, then it worked fine. soon after it didnt kick over at all(few weeks), replaced that started thinking it failed and it was tested at auto parts store and it worked fine. brought home a new one that was also tested prior to installng it and nothing.

The push button switch is direct to the starter, 1 wire to the main screw and 1 wire to the "S" screw.. th Push button is not hooked up thru the ignition switch.. Let me ask this, what is the "R" screw for at the opposite end of the the solenoid?
