Help with my 72 Jimmy

My Jimmy rides well, like a truck. It is 4X4 and all leafs and really rides rough. It doesn't help that the roads around here suck. Any suggestions on how to improve the ride? I am even considering converting to 2 wheel drive and coil springs?

I am open to any and all suggestions and criticisms. I would also like to know what each idea/method would cost?

Here is the Jimmy for those that have not seen it.
