about lost a wheel yesterday
Driving home yesterday from work and noticed some vibration, got home and it turned out to be the lugs were backing off the rim and I broke two studs, good thing I still have the six lugs hubs, if was five lug it probably would have broke all of them off over the railroad tracks that are rough as hell. The aluminum rim has seen one too many impact guns(not by me), now the lug nuts are pretty much seating on the edge of the bolt and not on the cone, damn lug centric aluminum wheels. This temp. change we have had recently probably contributed too. time for some junk yard digging for some steel wheels unless anyone close to Lafayette, Indiana has some laying around for supper cheap.
Sorry just had to rant a little.
