Dan Bowles here, Michigan

Danimal on lots of other sites but this one was taken or I choked and lost my password! I lurked a long time ago but blew away a hard drive with lots of links and stuff so who knows!

Anyway, I'm here. I'll remember this one.

Have been into AD Chevy trucks since my mom brought home a 1954 3100 when I was 8 years old (1977). She sold it when I was 12. Took until 27 to get it back (what was left) and 37 to get it to my house. The original rolling frame sits out behind the house now with a fair cab, reasonable bed, average nose, and no engine BUT it's all mine. The bed, nose, and various and assorted other parts ended up on my now 16 year old son's '54 3100/S10/327/NV3500 tire fryer.

My wife says I can't save 'em all but that doesn't mean I can't try.

Today my boys (14 and 16) and I have:
1947 cab on 1953 3/4 ton flat bed frame
1952 3100 roller
1954 tire fryer
1954 "my truck"
1949 1 ton panel (14 year old's project)
1954 1 1/2 ton body
Various and assorted parts, pieces, piles, and dreams

And as of yesterday morning most of a '41 Coupe that the older boy will practice his body work skills on.
