Injector to carb on my '87
I'd like some input if anyone else has done this ....
My boss just switched from a TBI factory injector, factory puter & distributor to a holley 670, edelbrock intake, MSD 6 & a basic HEI on his '90 SS454 p/u with great results. For a smog 54 it runs right along ..... I'd like to do the same BUT not change the intake. I'm not sure if the smaller runners of the TBI intake will really make that much difference than the edelbrock intake. Would a spacer assist the new carb? How much of a spacer? Why the change? I've had the TBI off ...... replaced the injectors & am just plain tired of depending on 22 year old parts & wires ...... screw them. I can fix it on the side of the road my way. I need a bandage the factory way. Anyone????? Ratty 46 |
