New from TX

I have a 72 Cheyenne Super LWB 1/2 ton that was my fathers. I now have the place, time and funds to get started on the restoration. It is mostly original. It has somewhere near 400K miles. The odometer has been broke for quite some time. The motor has never been out. It burns/leaks about 1 qt of oil every 4K miles but still gets around OK.

I have had this truck for over 20 years. It was willed to me when he passed away. It was my daily driver for quite some time. It has basically been parked for the last 10 years. The plan is to keep it mostly original with a few tasteful appearance mods. Nothing too crazy.

First up is suspension & steering. I plan to use all MOOG parts from a site sponsor. I also plan to do a 2/3 drop with springs. Wish me luck.
