Fookin New Guy from the Bay Area CA.

Wats up fellas, new guy here from San Jose CA. and I decided to finally get my 49 GMC Suburban on the road when I found this site. Went through a few threads and thought I could learn a lot from you guys.

Right now my rig sits as a pile of mess. Bought my 49 Burban from a guy whose Uncle had it on his ranch for 30 years in Humboldt County. Was mainly used to haul his "crops" until it went kaput and sat for about 17 years. It has lots of dents, dings, rust and rot but my main objective is to get it to the floor and then onto the road and then worry about bodywork. I want to have fun with it first and then get it pretty.

Here's my heap. Sorry for the crappy pic but I will post more as soon as the project rolls along.
